Nestor Cristancho Photographer: Ilesa and her own Jorge Luis Borges

We met Jorge Luis Borges reading The Aleph years ago. And some of his short stories were part of Literature workshops in College. Like Metempsicosis, which is very appropriate in this case.

But last year, on October, there was a surprise: Jorge Luis Borges plays guitar with the Band Wicked Little Dolls in New York and New Jersey.

What?

Yeah, Borges is alive. And plays rock & roll. And it is even better, his girlfriend is a beauty and smart blond made in America! Ilesa is her name.

This Jorge Luis Borges is also Argentinian, as the writer, but he is not blind at all. He loves friends and is a character when you are talking about great human beings. This ‘Boludo’ speaks with “ché qué contás”, and is doing his own in USA.

Ilesa and our Borges married last Saturday March 3^rd. It was a kind of a party in a house at Boulevard East, Weehawken, New Jersey, with a lot of joy, beautiful people and much more beautiful women!
